The sealing materials mainly use rubber and synthetic resins. Due to the different performance characteristics of various materials, their uses are also different. Appropriate choices should be made according to different usage requirements and different usage conditions.

A seal of a certain material has good sealing performance for a certain working medium to be sealed, but extremely poor performance for another medium, which is the compatibility of the sealing material with the hydraulic oil.

The most common sealing ring material and medium resistance.

1. Natural rubber (temperature 0-80) is suitable for drinking water, hot water, oil-free air, etc., but not for petroleum media.

2. Silicone rubber (temperature 70-260) is suitable for drinking water, hot water, oil-free air and high temperature steam, etc. It is not suitable for petroleum media.

3. Ethylene-propylene rubber (temperature 50-150) is suitable for hot water, dilute acid, oil-free air and various chemicals, but not for petroleum media.

4. Nitrile rubber (temperature 30-85) is suitable for petroleum products, air with oil vapor, vegetable oil and mineral oil; not suitable for hot water over 65℃ or hot dry air over 60℃.

5. Fluorinated rubber (temperature 6-1480) is suitable for a variety of oxidizing acids, petroleum, halogenated Jing, lubricating oil, hydraulic device liquid, organic liquid and air containing hydrocarbons.
